As the light and dark meet in perfect balance, we gather to honor the turning of the seasons. The Fall Equinox is a sacred time of grounding, reflection, and release — an invitation to let go of what no longer serves us and step gently into the slower rhythm of autumn.
This 90-minute seasonal practice will begin with a touch of soft, flowing movement to warm the body and settle the mind. From there, we’ll move into about 60 minutes of Yin Yoga — long, supported postures designed to open the body, release tension, and create space for stillness and surrender.
Expect a cozy, nourishing evening that will leave you feeling balanced, grounded, and connected — ready to embrace the season ahead with clarity and ease.

✨ About the Event
Step into the magic of October’s Hunter’s Moon — a powerful supermoon in Aries that illuminates courage, release, and rebalance. Traditionally known as the first full moon after the Harvest Moon, the Hunter’s Moon calls us to gather our strength, release what no longer serves, and prepare for the journey inward as the season shifts into longer nights.
This circle blends yoga, astrology, and ritual to help you align with lunar energy, reconnect with yourself, and honor the rhythms of nature.
🧘♀️ Evening Flow
6:00–7:00 PM – Full Moon Yoga Flow (optional- sign up under schedule))
Ground into your body with an empowering, all-levels practice designed to align with the fiery Aries moon. Breathwork, movement, and mindfulness will ignite clarity and courage before circle.
7:15–8:15 PM – Hunter’s Moon Circle
Together we’ll create sacred space for astrology, journaling, and ritual under the October supermoon. You’ll be guided through:
Gentle grounding + breathwork
Journaling prompts tied to the Aries full moon + Libra sun balance
Releasing ritual + sound meditation
Connection + closing reflection

This October, Discover Yoga invites you to slow down and give yourself the gift of self-care.
Our Self-Care Fridays series is designed especially for newcomers and anyone craving a gentle, grounding practice. Over three weeks, you’ll learn the foundations of yoga in a supportive environment while creating a Friday night ritual of movement, breath, and relaxation.
Each week builds on the last so you leave feeling confident, calm, and connected:
🌿 Week 1 (Oct 10) – Foundations & Breath
Learn simple postures, alignment tips, and grounding breathwork.
🌙 Week 2 (Oct 17) – Flow with Ease
Explore gentle sequences to connect breath and movement.
✨ Week 3 (Oct 24) – Confidence to Continue
Put it all together, plus tools you can carry into any yoga class.
Every session closes with a soothing relaxation practice, leaving you refreshed and ready for the weekend.

Join Discover Yoga and Fort Wayne Parks & Recreation for a free all-levels yoga class on the 2nd Sunday of each month at beautiful Promenade Park!
This beginner-friendly class is open to all—whether you’re brand new to yoga or looking to move and breathe in a scenic setting.
