VINYASA WORKSHOP
VINYASA WORKSHOP with Haley Long
Friday, September 11 • 6–7:15 PMWhat does your teacher actually mean when they say, “Take a vinyasa”?
In this 75-minute workshop, we’re breaking it down. Whether that means finding the variation that works best for your body, building strength, refining your Chaturanga, or simply feeling more confident moving through transitions, we’ll take an in-depth look at the connecting vinyasas you see throughout a yoga practice.
This workshop is for all levels — whether you’re brand new to yoga or you’ve been practicing for years, there will be something here for you.
✨ FREE for Discover members
✨ $15 for non-membersCome ask questions, explore your options, and make your vinyasa feel like yours.

Fall Equinox: A Practice of Balance
Sunday, September 20 • 10:30 AM • 90 Minutes
The fall equinox marks a moment of transition—a point in the year when day and night come into near balance before we begin our gradual shift toward shorter days and longer nights.
Nature reminds us that balance isn't something we find once and hold onto. It is something we continually return to as the world around us changes.
Join Chelsea for a special 90-minute Yoga Month practice inspired by the transition into fall and the yogic principles of Sthira + Sukha—steadiness and ease—and Aparigraha, the practice of non-grasping and letting go.
We'll begin with a short philosophy discussion before moving into grounding breathwork and intentional movement. Our practice will slowly build from the earth into a flowing sequence, exploring the balance between effort and ease, stability and softness. From there, we'll make our way back down to the mat for release, an extended Savasana, and a guided meditation.
This isn't about finding perfect balance.
It's about learning to stay grounded while things change, to soften without losing our strength, and to recognize what we may be ready to release as we enter a new season.
Philosophy • Pranayama • Grounding • Flow • Savasana • Meditation
In celebration of Yoga Month, this practice is open and accessible to our community.

Community: Pay What You Can • $5 minimumAll levels are welcome. No previous yoga experience is necessary.

Full Moon Sound Bath
Full Moon Sound Bath
Sunday, September 27 | 6:30–8:30 PM
Discover YogaThe full moon is a powerful time to pause, tune in, and release. As the moon reaches its fullest expression each month, we are invited to do the same—to reflect on what has grown, acknowledge what has come to fruition, and let go of what no longer serves us.
This gathering falls beneath the energy of June's Strawberry Moon, traditionally associated with the beginning of harvest season. Rather than striving for more, it invites us to recognize the abundance already present in our lives, celebrate our growth, and release anything preventing us from moving forward with greater clarity and ease.
Join Adriana Platt at Discover Yoga for a nourishing evening designed to help you do just that. We'll begin with gentle, restorative movement to soften the body and start the process of unwinding. From there, you'll be guided into meditation before settling into the main event: sound.
In a sound bath, nothing is asked of you. It is a space to simply receive and release. The intentional vibrations of singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and other instruments move through the body, inviting ease, softness, and a gentle shift into the parasympathetic (rest-and-digest) nervous system. Think of it as an extended, deeply supported Savasana, enhanced by movement, breath, meditation, pillows, blankets, and intentional rest.
We'll close with time for community integration, warm tea, and journaling—creating space to reflect on what you're ready to carry forward and what you're ready to leave behind.
No experience is necessary. Come exactly as you are, and allow this evening to be your monthly pause to reset, release, and return to yourself.
