The Wild Woman Within is a 7-day women’s wellness retreat designed to reconnect you with your body, your breath, and your inner knowing. Nestled in luxury at Casa Bella Tortuga—a stunning private estate just minutes from two secluded beaches—you’ll experience the magic of Costa Rica held in a safe, supportive, and soul-filled container.

This home-away-from-home features a natural saltwater pool, tropical gardens, a private yoga platform, and spacious bedrooms with en suite baths. Our personal chef crafts nourishing meals daily, and we take care of everything from airport pickup to your final sunset circle. You simply show up as you are.

What to Expect

Each day blends movement, mindfulness, sisterhood, and space.

Excursion Day

Midweek, we set off on a full-day adventure—Costa Rica style. After breakfast at the villa, we’ll head out for zip lining, horseback riding, a mountain water slide, and lunch in town. Everything is included, and it’s all optional. You choose your experience.

Sunday – Arrival Day: Welcome to Paradise

Afternoon – Arrival & Transfer

Arrive in Costa Rica mid-afternoon. Private drivers will greet us and transport us to our lush retreat sanctuary—our tropical home for the week. Let the magic begin.

4:00 – 6:30 PM – Settle In & Explore

Unpack, stretch, breathe in the jungle air. Take your time exploring the grounds, dipping in the pool, or relaxing on the terrace.

7:00 PM – Welcome Dinner + Introductions

Gather for a delicious, locally inspired dinner prepared by our incredible chef Marcia, who’ll be feeding our souls all week. We’ll share introductions, connect casually, and start forming the circle that will hold us through the retreat.

9:00 PM – Opening Circle

Come together under the stars to set intentions, drop into presence, and begin this shared journey with mindfulness and heart.

After 9:30 PM – The Evening Is Yours

Unwind your way—chat, stargaze, journal, or cozy up for rest. No schedule, just flow.

Wednesday excursion day

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday Daily Yoga Schedule (subject to change)

9:00 AM – Morning Yoga Practice Start the day with a revitalizing yoga class.

10:30 AM – Breakfast/Integration Break Wholesome, nourishing breakfast served with delicious Costa Rican coffee, fruit, and good vibes. Feel free to linger and chat.

11:30 AM – Theme & Inner Work Session Group gathering with journaling, sharing, light meditation, and conversation centered around a daily theme. Open, supportive, and connective.

12:30 PM – Lunch Delicious, wholesome food 

1:30 PM – Personal Time / Optional Activities Free to nap, swim in the pool, go to the beach, visit the bear by town, etc.

5:00 PM – Evening Yoga Practice A gentle, grounding session—yin, restorative, or slow flow to help unwind and soften.

6:30 PM – Dinner A cozy, nourishing dinner with plenty of time to connect, laugh, and watch the sunset.

8:00 PM – Evening Chill & Integration Light journaling prompts, guided meditation or candlelight yoga.

9:00 PM –Time to mingle and relax the rest of the night.

Friday – Celebration Day: Honoring the Journey

9:00 AM – Morning Yoga Practice

Ease into the day with one final morning flow—celebrating your body, breath, and everything you’ve moved through this week.

10:30 AM – Breakfast/Integration break

Enjoy a nourishing meal with your retreat family, full of flavor and good energy.

11:30 AM – Final Theme & Inner Work Session

Journaling, light discussion, and meditation to reflect, integrate, and honor the transformation of the week. This is your space to soak it in.

1:30 PM – Lunch

One last delicious lunch by Marcia, full of heart and flavor.

2:30 PM – Black Sand Beach Excursion

We head out for a dreamy afternoon at a black sand beach—swimming, laughing, playing, or simply laying in the sun with your feet in the ocean. Let the saltwater carry your joy.

6:30 PM – Celebration Dinner (Out on the Town)

Our final night together calls for something special. We’ll dine out at a local gem—sharing stories, smiles, and toasts to a week well lived.

8:00 PM – Closing Ceremony

Return to our space for a heartfelt closing circle—offering gratitude, sharing reflections, and sealing the week with intention and love.

After 9:00 PM – Your Last Evening To Enjoy Paradise 

Whether you want to dance, stargaze, or just breathe in the night—this time is yours.

Saturday – Departure Day: Carry It With You

7:00 – 9:00 AM – Grab & Go Breakfast**

Light breakfast options available—fresh fruit, muffins, local pastries, coffee, and tea. Enjoy at your own pace or take it with you.

By 10:00 AM – Check-Out & Departures**

Private drivers will take us back to the airport with plenty of time to catch your flight. Hugs, teary smiles, and a heart full of Costa Rican sunshine.

  • Discover Yoga Founder.

    Chelsea Vona is the founder of Discover Yoga and a dedicated teacher with over 10 years of experience and more than 4,000 hours of teaching under her belt. With six certifications and a passion for creative, sustainable movement, Chelsea is known for helping others connect more deeply to their bodies with intention and purpose. She’s a firm believer that yoga should support your life, not strain it. As a business owner, teacher, and retreat leader, Chelsea combines her love of movement, people, and travel—hosting her third retreat (and fourth visit!) in beautiful Costa Rica.

  • Lisa Selby is a passionate yoga teacher with over six years of experience and more than 2,000 teaching hours. With a strong focus on women’s health and wellness, she creates supportive spaces where students feel empowered to explore their bodies and breath with compassion. This will be Lisa’s second retreat co-hosting with Chelsea, and she brings a grounded, nurturing presence to the experience—blending knowledge, heart, and healing movement in every session.
